SUBJECT:  Day Long Session Includes Discussion on Fireworks

As reported in the August 3 issue of Sparks, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is hosting a webinar on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (EST). APA has submitted questions pertaining to fireworks and encourages all Federal Explosives Licensees (FELs) to mark the date and plan to participate.

Officials from the Director’s Office, the Office of Enforcement Programs and Services, the Office of Field Operations, the Federal Explosives Licensing Center, the Firearms and Explosives Industry Division, and the Explosives Industry Programs Branch will participate to discuss topics such as:

•           Federal Explosive Licensee Inspections and Renewals

•           IMESAFR Variances

•           Underground Storage

•           Fireworks/Pyrotechnics

•           Updates to ATF Form 5400.5, Report of Theft/Loss – Explosives

•           Employee Possessor Processing
